Making Right Decisions

Most of us have trouble, anxiety, sadness with one area of life that we cannot escape making decisions. In our daily life everyday we have to decide what to do, when to do it, and how to do it. One wrong decision can wreck  a lifelong career or throw a family into financial disaster.
While making decisions is not easy, there is one way we can always know we have made the correct choice by listening for God’s guidance concerning the matter. He wants to be our guide through this life “For this God is our God for ever and ever. He will be our guide even unto death” (Psalm 48:14) The book of James it clear that God will help us make wise decisions as long we seek His wisdom with an attitude of expectancy.

If you want to know what God wants you to do, ask him and He will gladly tell you, for he is always ready to give a bountiful supply of wisdom to all who ask him; he will not resent it. But when you ask him, be sure that you really expect him to tell you, for a doubtful mind will be as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind; and every decisions you then make will be uncertain, as you turn first this way, and then that. If you don’t ask with faith, don’t expect the Lord to give you any solid answer. (James 1:5-8)
God guidance through personal words, visions, dreams, and scripture have helped me make important decisions and fulfill His plan for my life.
